I'd like to dedicate my #thankyouthursday review to Harbor Delicatessen. Whenever I don't feel like making breakfast, they always comes through in the clutch. If you don't understand that sports term, that's alright.. it basically means they always do a superb job. From delicious BLT's to a classic Bacon-Egg-Cheese on a roll, to pancakes to cold cuts, they are the perfect classic NY deli that does everything well. Their home fries are wonderful too. Funny thing is, I was never a real big homefries fan before until I've had theirs... each bite tastes so perfectly crispy and fresh that I've now ordered them twice in a row. As for the staff, they are so darn down to earth and welcoming. The same goes for even the customers that frequent the store. Every time I've come here, someone either holds the door for me, thanks me for holding it for them, or greets me with a "Hey how you doin" when I make eye contact. Very reasonable prices, large platter and sandwich selection, newspapers by the entrance so you can browse a bit while waiting, cold beer in the fridge, and huge bike rack out front... I mean, what's not to like! 5 star deli for sure.
Good people and great food. I moved out here a few months back and they definitely make you feel right at home. You're the best Joe, and so is your staff.
Great local deli. Great burgers, fish on Fridays. Just wish they had more options. Had great wild rice but seemed to have stopped making it. Nice people who work there
